Museo de Historia de la Ciudad

Situado en el corazón del Barrio Antiguo, en el antiguo convento de los Capuchinos, el museo repasa toda la historia de la ciudad de Girona desde los primeros pobladores prehistóricos, pasando por el esplendor medieval hasta llegar a nuestros días.

Museo Arqueológico de Girona

El museo acoge todo el material arqueológico de tiempos prehistóricos y de época antigua (ibérico, griego y romano) encontrado en la provincia de Girona y que no fue enviado a los almacenes de Barcelona, como es el caso de la estatua del Esculapio de Empúries. Allí uno puede encontrar miliarios, lápidas, mosaicos y material de uso cotidiano. El museo también cubre la época medieval, con conjuntos de epigrafía.

Museo de Arte

Fundado en 1976, el museo se sitúa en el antiguo palacio episcopal de Girona, al lado de la catedral. El museo aloja colecciones de arte de todos los periodos, desde el románico hasta la época contemporánea, con obras de Ramon Martí Alsina o Joaquim Vayreda.

Museo Capitular-Tesoro de la Catedral

Museo dedicado a las reliquias y objetos de valor acumulados por el capítulo de la Catedral de Girona. Uno puede encontrar colecciones de arte sacro, objetos litúrgicos y obras de orfebrería. De entre sus piezas destacan el Beat de Liébana, creado en Zaragoza en el año 975, y el Tapiz de la Creación, del siglo XI o XII.

Museo del Cine de Girona

Inaugurado en 1998, es un museo único en su categoría. Creado a partir de la donación de los fondos particulares del director de cine catalán Tomàs Mallol, acoge una gran variedad de material cinematográfico, como máquinas de proyección, bobinas, material original de películas y carteles.

Museo de la Historia de los Judíos

Museo dedicado a la historia de la comunidad judía gerundense de la época medieval, del siglo XI al progromo de 1391 hasta la expulsión de 1492. Contiene objetos de la cultura judía y un rico fondo de lápidas procedentes del cementerio judío de Girona en Montjuïc.
